My Awesome New Toy – Galaxy Note

When I first saw the Galaxy Note, I was in love with the features.. I love the S-pen, I love the idea that I could screen capture anything and write notes on it. I love the big screen and I love that there is a second camera to it! Bottomline was I LOVE it.

However, I already have a fantastic phone that I love, the HTC Desire HD and I was seriously weighing the pros and cons before deciding whether I should really get the phone. Azwaj solved the problem for me. He told me that he will buy me my dream phone and he will, instead of buying his own new phone, take over ownership of my HTC phone. OMG! I squealed in delight! lol!

So on 28 December 2011, off we went to Low Yatt Plaza to get this super awesome dream phone of mine. I got an additional 16GB memory card and a beautiful pink leather flip cover to protect my lovely investment :)

So yeah.. a fantastic new toy for the New Year for me!  I am having so much fun with this phone that  at least it distracted me a bit from my Unifi internet problems.

Total cost for my brand new phone was RM2550.. worth everything penny! THANK YOU my darling Azwaj!!!

Windy Days

It’s so windy here at my area that there we’ve been sleeping without needing to switch on the fan or the air-condition. Nice change definitely from all the heat from the past months. I’m surprised though that the kids are all still swimming in the pool downstairs despite the cold water I’m sure. I mean it’s not like there is a raypak heater installed or anything.. but I guess kids will be kids and before the school starts again, they would want to enjoy themselves, cold water or otherwise.

Timing Myself

timerI think I way overwork these days and I’ve decided that I will keep track of the actual number of hours I go through daily working, minus facebook games of course, and start to manage my time properly. I mean, all work and no play makes LJ a dull woman right? lol!

Anyway, I decided to keep use my phone’s timer and set it to 10hours for now and each time I stop work, I would stop the time and vice versa. Then when my 10hours is up, the beeper would sound and I know that whatever time I work after that is considered overtime. Hmm.. should I pay myself overtime fees? Oh well, it is my own business and not like I’m working any Technologists & Technicians Jobs with fixed hours right?

Here’s to a more fruitful 2012!

Loving it: One Product Two Looks!

reversible bagsI’m a practical kinda gal and I love value for money buys. That is why I’ve always love those one product two looks kinda thing and this one from jansport backpack fits the bill just nicely. With one swoop, I can have the backpack matching my mood or whatever it is I’m wearing for the day. How awesome is that right?! Think about it, if I were to buy two of these, I can have four different look for the week!
